Custom CAD/CAM Fine Jewelry   

CAM refers to the integration of Computer-aided design (CAD) and Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). I work closely with several U.S. based sources to grow and “print” 3-D wax models of my custom designs. This fascinating method turns a simple napkin sketch into a perfect rendering of what your custom designed piece will look like! The 3-D wax models made from this digital file will yield an exact duplicate gold or platinum mounting ready to have stones set in place. Your dream design will literally come to life in the final product!  

Diamond cutting and restoration

Do you have a chipped or broken family diamond in need of restoration? I use one of the best and most experienced diamond cutters in the United States, he’s in New York. He cuts diamonds from the rough and also recuts some of the most important diamonds in the world.  He’s literally a genius and can transform damaged stones with very little weight loss.  

HAND ENGRAVING

I also work with my team of three incredible hand engravers, one in New Orleans that specializes in ornate monogram and initial jewelry, one in Los Angeles that specializes in engraving patterns and mill graining that gives your jewelry a distinct old world look. Another engraver in New York specializes in the heraldic style hand engraving of family crests on gold signet rings and intaglio hand engraving techniques applied directly into semi-precious stones. Hand engraving is a fascinating art form that has almost disappeared today. Only a few truly master hand engravers are left today. I am fortunate to know several.
